Allyn and her new hearing aids

Allyn got her hearing aids yesterday. She has been so excited to get them. As soon as she got them in she smiled like I haven't seen her smile in a long time. When we walked out of the clinic David said to her, "what is the first thing you hear?". She said, "walking". I thought that was interesting. I never would have thought someone would hear walking. After we got home she spent some time in the basement singing. I think she was really enjoying hearing herself. I have noticed she is not talking as loud either. I am so used to her yelling at me that I feel like I need to say "what?" to her. Her ears are kinda sore from them, but it will take a little while for her to get used to them.

I got this video this morning before church. Judah is saying "DA DA DA". Keep watching. I was laughing so hard.

Yesterday we decided to take the kids to Perkins because it is kids eat FREE!
This was Judah's first time in a high chair in a Restaurant. He is so big!

After dinner we decided to go for a walk along the water out by Blue Harbor Resort. It is so beautiful down there.

In one spot of the lake the water was really nasty. It looked like chocolate milk splashing up against the rocks.
