Bega in Wisconsin
Here are some pictures of when my Dad and Alana were here. The kids really had a lot of fun. They put the tent up in the back yard and slept there for 3 nights. They even stayed out there in the rain. The kids get a lot of treats while Bega is here. They had doughnuts, gummy bears and worms, cinnamon bears, dairy queen, root beer floats, s'mores....that is all I can think of off the top of my head.
Here they are having lunch with root beer floats.

Today I ran 3.6 miles in 39.08 minutes. It was really hard running today. It was so humid I felt like I was trying to breathe water. I really wanted to make it 4 miles, but I am super happy with what I did because I wasn't even 3 steps and I wanted to be done. I think I may keep running the same distance for a few weeks and work on my time, but who knows I really want to reach that 4 miles mark.
The kids are having a lot of fun with Bega here. The last 2 nights they camped out in the tent. The first morning they were up at 5 so that afternoon all of us had quiet time. We rented a movie and had pizza last night. Today the kids went swimming in the freezing water.

I know, I know, I know!!!
I have so much updating to do. We did finally get our laptop back so I can upload tons of pictures.
I have been running and let me tell you I would have never considered myself a runner. I would get soooo tired. I decided that I just need to keep doing and it would get easier. It has been so much easier. It is now like a drug to me. I can't get enough. Crazy I know!!!! This morning I ran 3 miles! Yes 3 miles! Sunday I ran 3.5 miles (with Lyric). This week I will reach the 4 mile mark!!! Just in case you are wondering I do run the whole way without stopping. Who would have thought? I guess I need to work up to a half marathon.
David runs every Monday with work. This morning the group of them ran 2 miles, but he had to keep going to run at least 4. He couldn't let his wife out run him! LOL.
Bega (my Dad) broke his ankle a few weeks ago on his Harley trip out to DC. He had surgery and is off work for at least 6 weeks. He is coming today to visit with my niece Alana. Oh I can't wait to hug her!!!!!! I will try to have the camera in hand to capture lots of pictures. I sure will miss Colton:(
I will get better at posting again. I promise.

Bega's visit
A few weeks ago my Dad (Bega) came to visit for a couple of days. He always brings treats for the kids. You can see Kian is really enjoying the doughnuts. The kids didn't know he was coming. Kian was home when he got here and he was really excited. Allyn and Lyric where at school so David picked them up and they met us at Chili's for dinner. They had no idea he was going to be there, but they were really excited when they saw him.
The next day we had to go to Milwaukee to the childrens hospital because Allyn got inserts in her shoes for her flat foot and sore ankles. Allyn, David and I also had to get blood drawn for a Chromosome test they are doing on Allyn. We have not gotten back the results yet, but I HOPE to post them once we do get them. After the hospital we went to Olive Garden. That is always a treat!!
