Breakfast

This is what I woke up to this morning. Breakfast waiting for me. Lyric is such a kind heart. He said he was laying in bed thinking about it. Allyn and Kian did help him with it, but he gets credit for thinking of it. David also had a plate, but he ate his by the time I got downstairs. They were by far the BEST cold waffles I have ever had.

Sick Kids

Allyn and Lyric are home sick today. Lyric started not feeling well on Monday. Tuesday he stayed home with a fever and went back to school Wed and Thurs. Allyn is upset she can't go to school today. All 4 of the kids have a nasty cough. YUK! I am sure Kian and Judah will get it soon.

Lyric doing what he does best..............reading!

David brought home some dry ice for Kian. He thought it was pretty cool!

So here is what I looked like after I got my teeth done. Everyone was laughing at me because I could not smile. This is my smile... even after a couple of hours.
We found a new home for the kids swing set. David had to take one last picture of it. Our friends The Staders are enjoying it now.

We went to the Pumpkin farm with church and a very very cold day out. I think it was about 30 degrees or so. I am not ready for winter!!!!

Kelly Olsen and her big grin :)

After the hay ride we had a potluck at the Pumpkin Farm. There was a lot of food, but it was also freezing inside!

Michelle and her CHEESE!
The kids got their costumes this weekend. Ally is of course going to be Hannah Montana! This is only part of her costume.
I didn't get a picture of Kian or Lyric yet, but Kian is going to be a Transformer and Lyric a Ninja. Neither are costumes I would have picked out, but I guess they are older now and they don't want Mom picking them out. It is so weird for me to just buy them and not make them. I am however making Mine and David's for our 3rd Annual Hastings Costume Party. We are really excited. Stay tuned for pictures. The Party is Nov 6 so be patient.
Judah is going to be a Garden Gnome.

House Update!

We found a place to rent! Lyric is really excited because it is only 4 blocks from school. All he can think about is riding his rip stick to school. The best thing about this place is it is only $650 a month.

Here is the add on the house. It was built in 1926. We will post pictures when we get the keys.....
Beautiful renovated 3 bedroom apt for rent. Upper of of a double flat, catheral ceilings give the open and airy feeling . 1800 st ft. New high energy furance with A/C/ This apt has been totally redone from new electric and plumbing to new appliances. Also small out side deck , One care garage with opener, basement. Does not incldue utilites. Located north side near Holy name Church. Features 2 larges bedrooms, one smaller, formal dining room with hutch, living room and modern kitchen . This unit also includes a new washer and dryer in the unit. so you do not have to go to the basement to do laundry. Was told it was one of the nicest Apts in Sheboygan for the rent. Looking for tenants that will treat this like their own home. References and credit history required. One months rent as security deposit. No pets but negoitable

We had our home inspection the other day and they found a few things wrong with our roof. David had a couple people look at it. One guys said $1500-2000 and the other guys said around $400-800. I was so thankful for the second guy.

I had $1200 in dental work done yesterday. It was NOT fun! I was there for 2 and a half hours. I am getting a crown on one back tooth. So right now I have a temp on and I go back in Nov to get the permanent one on. He did find another tooth that could use a crown now too :( One of the most horrible experiences in my life was my childhood dentist. He has made me not only horrified of Dentist, but also is causing me to get more work done now because of how he did his work when I was younger. I do have to say I do like the dentist I have now....too bad I will be searching for another one in less than a year. So, now we are going to pay much less a month, but now I have a large bill to pay.

We sold the house after only 11 days. We put it up for sale early because we didn't know how long it would take to sell. The house across the street has been up for sale about 7-8 months now. So being that we are leaving in June we thought we should put it up. We did want it to sell right away, but we were not expecting it. The house across the street is bigger than ours so if it sold fir it would put the price of our house even lower so it was really important for us to sell first. The sale was an answer to prayer. The realtor said it was a really clean offer. They did not have a contingency on the sale of their own home. They did not ask for closing cost. They want to close by Nov 15 because they are first time home buyers and they want to get in on the $8000. We are now hunting for an apartment. After looking at a couple I really feel like our house is big. Apartment living is sure going to be an humbling experience.

Here are a few pictures of the house.

Lyric and Kian's room

Allyn's RoomMaster Bedroom--- we did not paint this room

The office-- another room we did nothing to.

Basement

We were planning on sleeping in on Saturday, but we got a call saying they wanted to walk though our house again and then at 10 they were going to be writing up a contract. So we all got dressed and went out for breakfast.

Before and after pictures of the deck.

Lyric has wanted a rip stick for a while. We told him if he watched Judah while we stained the deck we would buy him one. He has improved much more since this video was taken. He is such a big helper around here.
