1st Day of Travel to San Diego
The past 2 nights we stayed in Scott and Michelle's camper. We left there this morning at 10am. It was a really sad goodbye to their family and Anita's family and Monica. We stopped a few times, but we ended up getting a hotel in Walnut, Ia at 9pm. It sounds like a long day, but it really wasn't that bad. The kids did really well. We drove about 500 miles. We were trying to make it to Omaha because I wanted to get out of Iowa really bad. We are about 50 miles from there. I am OK with it though because our goal was to reach Des Moines. We want to drive at least 400 miles a day. We will wake up again tomorrow and get on the road again.

That picture on your blog is sooo cute. (the big one of ya'll in front of the tree) I wonder if I can figure out how to put a pic of our family there...
